Did you know that the Sundarbans is actually 10 times bigger than the city of Venice? Sundarbans is an amalgamation of a total of 102 islands and Mangrove forests. Since this place brims with Mangroves, it is named Sundarbans after the Mangrove tree ‘Sundari’.
